Jessica Miranda

Jessica Miranda is an entrepreneur, electrical contractor, community leader, and advocate for workforce development in the skilled trades. She is the owner and co-founder of The Specialist Electrical Contractor, a licensed electrical contracting company serving industrial, commercial, and residential clients throughout New Mexico.

As a first-generation Mexican-American woman in the construction industry, Jessica has dedicated her career to breaking barriers and creating opportunities for future generations of tradespeople. Through her leadership, she has helped develop training opportunities, promote apprenticeship programs, and support workforce growth across the construction industry.

Jessica currently serves on the Educational Affairs Committee, Membership Committee, and Trust Board of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) New Mexico Chapter. She is also the Secretary of the Puentes Foundation, where she supports initiatives focused on education, mentorship, and community engagement.

Previously, Jessica served as President of the Rio Rancho Education Foundation, where she worked to strengthen partnerships between the business community and local educational programs, helping create opportunities for students pursuing career and technical education pathways.

Jessica's leadership and impact have been recognized throughout New Mexico. She was featured in the May 2025 Super Women edition of Albuquerque The Magazine, highlighting influential women making a difference in their industries and communities. In March 2026, she was again featured in Albuquerque The Magazine's Success Stories edition, recognizing her entrepreneurial journey, commitment to excellence, and contributions to the construction and electrical industries.

Her contributions have also earned her recognition, including the Wonder Woman Star Award and the Latina Style Entrepreneurial Excellence Award. Jessica is a frequent advocate for leadership development, workforce education, and expanding opportunities for women and underrepresented groups in the trades.

Through her professional work, volunteer leadership, and commitment to community service, Jessica continues to inspire others by demonstrating that perseverance, education, and skilled trades can create meaningful opportunities for individuals, families, and communities throughout New Mexico.
